EXT. STREET – DAY

Naked Man jumps to his feet.

NAKED MAN: I’m fine folks. Just this trick knee. Goes out around loud noises. Hurts a little. Ow.

Across the street, a COP is barricaded behind a police car and focused on a Bank. A MASKED BANK ROBBER waves his gun.

BANK ROBBER: Sorry. Thought the safety was on. Sort of nervous. Sorry.

Behind the car, the Officer holds a bullhorn and talks into the walkie-talkie.

COP: We can’t wait for the city negotiator. This guy’s got half dozen people inside that bank. Naked Man taps him on the shoulders.

NAKED MAN (O.S.): I can help, officer. I volunteer weekends with my hometown force. The stunned Officer hands his bullhorn to the Naked Man.

NAKED MAN: (bull horn) Hello in there.

 BANK ROBBER Hi. Gee, that’s loud. Naked Man lowers the bull horn.

NAKED MAN: Sorry. Say, how about you come on out here and we call it a day? I’ll buy us a tall cool beer. An American lager. Sound nice?

BANK ROBBER: You bet. No. Wait a minute. Back off. I’m serious you guys.

NAKED MAN: Ok. Alright. No problem. How many hostages do you have in there?

BANK ROBBER: None. Naked Man ponders this.

NAKED MAN: Very clever. Very clever indeed.
